Good video, but the footage you have of the game is either poor quality, most likely a poor internet connection of the recorder, unless that footage is actually from OG toontown, which would make it understandable. Also, a few things you said rather early into the video. Light roleplay is technically correct, but with speedchat on for public speak can't exactly roleplay too much with what options you had. Farming was never a thing, but gardening was later on in the games lifespan. Fishing actually does progress your account, as trophies from doing it boost your max laff (HP). There is no defensive buffs to speak of unless you count luring the cogs to buy time, which is just a debuff on them. Jellybeans were not used to buy gag tracks, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say you meant just gags. These seem like minor nitpicks (and they are), but I think someone of your sub count on your main channel and having 100K+ here should at least incentivize you to make sure the script is 100% correct, or clarify in post-editing. I tend to not see this amount of mistakes on your main channel, but I am also much less versed on most things you cover there. Just want ya to do better, Toontown deserves it.

If you look at the people who run this company, it's cat ladies and MBAs. Aside from Phil Spencer, most of them wouldn't know gaming if it bit them in the neck. Contrast that with people at the top of Nintendo, most of whom are gamers and who are deeply passionate about their craft. It's basically a tale of two cities, with Sony somewhere in the middle. The closure of the Xbox 360 online market was another wound; you had this space where you can make free money off the dorks who are too poor or too tepid to afford the newer consoles, then you close it down anyway. It was once a space where any indie dev could make a game and sell it, it was the console version of Steam, and now it's gone. All to spite the people who haven't gotten an Xbox One or Series S/X. Even though Microsoft themselves are considering releasing their games in other platforms like those of Sony and Nintendo anyways, which goes to show that their own investment into the Series S/X isn't that strong, either. That is why Xbox is suffering. The top decisions are made by cynical corpos who just want to squeeze out all the money from the brand. They'd happily throw the towel and sell their gaming division to Sony or Nintendo if it meant more profits down the line.

There's an error in this video: Capcom did not develop the Lion King game, nor did it publish it. The development for the original SNES game was done by the legendary Westwood Studios (Louis Castle was the one who initiated the project with Disney). Virgin Interactive handled the publishing, and two other companies handed the DOS and SEGA ports respectively.

Growing up with tron evolution, disney infinity, the force unleashed games, epic mickey and lego avengers I can say that I miss disney interactive. Sure they made some trash games, but they made a lot of good games as well. I pre-ordered epic mickey rebrushed so I'm really excited on what disney will make in the future!

Fallout new vegas was my escape game from the bullying of middle school. I agree with some of the points mentioned, halo was better when bungie was at the helm, but halo 4-5-infinite isn't the worst, its not the best, but its not un-playable. now I believe -and this might just be nostalgia because halo 4 was my first halo game-. that despite what everybody says about it, I love it. because 343 was just fallowing market trends at the time and trying something new out. now do I think infinite or 4 or 5 is the best? hell no, reach is the best halo game in my opinion. now I also haven't even gotten 2 or 3 yet, or even ce, so take it with a grain of salt. halo isn't in the best spot right now, but I think things will get better, 343 is taking what the fans want (at least from what I've heard) to heart and are hiring old bungie developers (again, from what I've heard). but than again, even destiny 2 (bungies current main game) isn't doing well, gaming in general isn't doing well. but we can all agree the halo tv show is trash, right? also sorry for the long comment.

Toontown got me my first kiss weirdly enough, and well the games still just fun as hell. I took about a 6 year break youtube decided to recommend toontown videos to me again and boom I'm back in it

Well, as I remember first time that I see on Internet descrive in a direct way WoW as a social experiment... And, well, I have 30 years and I spent around 3.3% of my life time playing WoW in front of a computer... Which I can say is being or not a social experiment if it was/is I am glad to contribute to the implement of nowdays online conexion almost globally in social networks. And... the hell, it was fun haha, nowadays I do not play socially to WoW, I play very little and listening to podcast and questings to evade adiction sintoms. Saber, Toontown Rewritten PURCHASED the art asset rights FROM Disney or rather, the creator you mentioned in the video bought them from Disney when they shut it all down as he was the one who saw potential in the game and wanted to keep it going. Disney is ACUTELY AWARE of Toon Town ReWritten and CC. They have had wet dreams trying to PUT THIS ONTO CELL PHONES, MOBILE, A FREEMIUM GAME WHERE THEY CAN SQUEEZE EVERY DOLLAR, PENNY AND FRACTION OF FRACTIONS OF BIT COIN FROM BOTH KIDS AND ADULTS THEY CAN HOOK ONTO IT WITH TODAY'S RESEARCH HOW TO KEEP THEIR EYES ON THE F**K*NG PHONE!!!!... However... There are those on Disney's board who dismiss spending resources of making it a Phone App because of TT's failures to Club Penguin. Ontop of this, Disney has been going in a different direction with their animation, art and above all choice in "attractions." The fact the assets were purchased and the game has it's own life now means Disney can do jack sh*t about it even if the entire board AGREES to make a TT Phone Game. They would have to buy the art assets, game code, everything back from the dev who bought it all when it went down and would have better luck REBUILDING the game from the ground up with new assets, art, story and game system. Right now, however, Disney is in a Pickle of pickles stacked ontop of a pickle in a jammed jar encased in re-enforced cement tossed into the gravitation pull of a Blackhole with an army of deadly assassin's pointing various weapons at them should they escape the first ridiculous allegory. The man running Disney is currently in panic mode as his body expunges bricks or sweat and pain as he is currently fighting to GAIN CONTROL of Disney. He has been losing control, losing money and losing his sanity; a lot of people don't see Disney Survivng in the next 5 years due to the desperation and the state Hollywood is in. Toon Town would be the last thing on their minds.
